TUFTS DAVIS

           My artistic career started at a very young age when my mother entered a painting I had done of my stuffed panda bear in a clothesline exhibit.  Since then, I have had a passion for art and can’t imagine life without it.  My extensive travels have provided wonderful subject matter for my paintings and I enjoy working on location.  I have had the pleasure of studying with Ann Tolman Roth, Robert Baxter, and the famous watercolorist, Charles Reid, who has had the greatest influence on my work.

              The award winning watercolors of Tufts Davis have been widely exhibited along the eastern seaboard of the United States, with one person exhibitions in Connecticut and Maine and numerous groups’ showings from New England to Florida.  In addition, her paintings are included in both private and corporate collections across America.  Ms. Davis studied at Atelier Fougerat in Paris, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the Coronado School for the Arts in California and the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota.
